My name is Dr. Juliane Bodo, a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery in Berlin-Charlottenburg. For over 20 years, I have been performing surgical and minimally invasive procedures—with health insurance accreditation since 2005 and currently around 500 procedures per year. My Plastethics Clinic at Schlüterstraße 40 is licensed as a private clinic under Section 30 of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO).

Education and career

I studied human medicine at the University of Cologne, where I also earned my doctorate. I completed my specialist training at leading hospitals in Cologne and Berlin—including the Cologne-Merheim Hospital in the Department of Plastic, Hand, and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Martin Luther Hospital in Berlin under Prof. Dr. Dr. J. Bruck. International fellowships in Stockholm, Washington, Frankfurt, and Berlin further broadened my surgical expertise.

I have been a board-certified specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery since 2004. From 2005 to 2012, I headed the plastic surgery department at the Polikum Berlin-Charlottenburg. In 2012, I established my own practice, Plastethics, located at Schlüterstraße 40, near Kurfürstendamm, since 2016.

Congresses and specialist lectures

I regularly give presentations at national and international conferences. VDÄPC Annual Congress 2026 In Berlin, I was invited as a member of an expert panel and spoke about the structure and management of a private clinic licensed under Section 30 of the German Criminal Code. AMWC — I attend the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in Monaco every year to stay up-to-date with international developments.
