Sagging skin can be caused by many factors – such as the natural aging process, significant weight changes, or external influences such as UV radiation, stress, or unhealthy lifestyle habits. When skin loses elasticity, contour loss occurs on the upper arms, abdomen, thighs, or face. What is BodyTite?

BodyTite™ is based on the so-called RFAL technology (Radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis). This involves targeted heat energy being delivered to the subcutaneous fat tissue via an internal and external electrode. This controlled heating has two effects:

1. Fat cells are liquefied and can either be broken down by the body or removed during accompanying liposuction.

2. The surrounding connective tissue is tightenedbecause the thermal energy shortens the collagen fibers and stimulates new formation.

The treatment is particularly suitable for non-surgical skin tightening, especially in areas where traditional lifting procedures would result in noticeable scars.

Indications – When is BodyTite useful?

BodyTite™ can be used specifically for minor to moderate skin sagging – especially when:

• there is moderate tissue sagging (e.g. on upper arms, thighs, abdomen or back)

• skin tightening is desired in addition to liposuction

• a tightening operation should be avoided or delayed

• minimally invasive alternatives to classic lifting are sought

In more severe cases, we combine BodyTite™ with the Water jet or vibration-assisted liposuction (WAL or VAL)to remove excess fat while tightening the skin.

Technical tightening variants – modular application

In our clinic we use different handpieces depending on the body area:

• BodyTite™: for larger areas such as stomach, hips, back, legs or upper arms

• AccuTite™: for small, sensitive areas such as the eye area, neck, knees or navel

• FaceTite™: for face, chin line or combination with a facelift

All devices work according to the same principle, but are adapted to the respective body region.

Treatment process

The treatment is performed under local anesthesia or, if desired, under twilight sleep. First, the area is marked and disinfected. Then, a fine probe is inserted under the skin through an approximately 2 mm incision. Simultaneously, the outer electrode glides across the skin's surface.

• The radiofrequency energy is delivered into the tissue in a targeted manner.

• Real-time temperature monitoring reliably protects the surrounding tissue from overheating.

• If necessary, excess fat can also be removed with liposuction.

Duration of treatment: approx. 45–90 minutes, depending on the region and combination.

The minimal access points usually heal without scarring.

Aftercare & healing process

After treatment, swelling, minor bruising and a Muscle soreness-like feelingFor optimal results, please follow these aftercare instructions:

• Compression clothing wear for 2–4 weeks

• physical rest in the first 3–4 days

• slight movement (walks) is recommended, Sports and avoid physically strenuous activities for about 2 weeks

• Sauna, solarium and intense UV radiation should be avoided for about 4–6 weeks

• Showering is possible from the following day treatment allowed

The tightening effect develops gradually over several weeks to months, as the body's own collagen production takes time.

Risks & Complications

BodyTite™ is considered safe procedure, if performed professionally and under clinical conditions. In rare cases, it may lead to:

• temporary numbness or hardening

• irregular skin surface (with very thin skin)

• Infections or pigment changes occur
