How CoolSculpting® works
During the CoolSculpting® treatment, the applicator is placed on the fat depot determined by the doctor. The applicator pulls the fat deposit to be treated between two cooling plates, which ensure controlled cooling of the fat tissue. The skin surface and the surrounding tissue are protected. Since fat cells are sensitive to very low temperatures, a gradual, natural breakdown of the fat cells begins, which reduces the thickness of the fat layer. The result is a significant flattening of the fat deposit. Every patient is individual, which is why ZELTIQ™ recommends a customized treatment plan that is optimally tailored to the needs of the patient. Multiple treatments of one or more specific zones can further improve the result.
Effectiveness
CoolSculpting® leads to a clear and measurable reduction in the treated fat deposit(s). The treated fat cells disappear forever. The first results can be seen after only 3 weeks, the final result can be seen after one to three months at the latest. Target group
