Skin tightening without surgery

There are various reasons that can lead to sagging skin. On the one hand, the body's own production of collagen decreases with advancing age, on the other hand, external factors affect the body. These include, for example, UV radiation, stress, an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.

As a rule, an invasive procedure in which the excess skin is surgically removed is the first choice to achieve a lasting result. But if the problem is recognized in time, such a step can be avoided or at least delayed.

I use the BodyTite™ procedure at the Plastethics Clinic. BodyTite™ uses RFAL (Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) technology, which replaces the traditional Liposuction or surgical body tightening supplements or replaces. BodyTite™ uses bipolar radio frequencyto liquefy the excess fat in the subcutaneous tissue layer so that it can then be metabolized by the body. In this way, I achieve a reduction in fatty tissue in small treatment regions, while at the same time thermally tightening the collagen fibers.

For larger treatment regions and extensive findings, I combine the BodyTite™ procedure with a classic WAL or VAL liposuction. The first step is liposuction, then the skin is tightened with the BodyTite procedure. Body contours can be shaped well and the tissue becomes firmer and smoother. BodyTite™

BodyTite™ is a minimally invasive handpiece with a longer probe to treat larger areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, legs, hips and back. Tightening operations and thus visible scars can be avoided on the upper arms and inner thighs as long as the excess skin is not yet pronounced. The procedure achieves very good results in combination with liposuction.

AccuTite™:

AccuTite™ is the minimally invasive skin remodeling and tightening handpiece for small areas such as the neck, cheeks, around the eyes and smaller areas of the body such as the knees and navel.

FaceTite™

FaceTite™ is a minimally invasive contouring solution for the face and small to medium body areas. I've had good results with FaceTite in combination with a facelift or upper arm liposuction.

How does the BodyTite™ procedure work?

The treatment is carried out using the BodyTite™ Instruments (Handpiece) carried out, which consists of an inner and an outer electrode. The inner electrode is inserted under the skin in the face or neck via a small puncture. The puncture sites, which are only about 2 mm in size, are so fine that they usually heal quickly and without scars after the treatment.
The heat generated by radio frequency is now conducted through this inner electrode into the fat and subcutaneous tissue. To prevent burns in the tissue, the supply of heat is stopped immediately as soon as the target temperature at the tip of the needle is reached. The outer electrode is responsible for gliding over a sterile ultrasound gel film over the skin surface during treatment in order to additionally monitor the temperature here.
The treatment lasts between 45 and 90 minutes. Since the treatment takes place under local anesthetic and, if desired, in twilight sleep, it is almost painless for the patient and is carried out on an outpatient basis.

What should be considered after the BodyTite™ treatment?

After an extensive BodyTite™ Treatment requires wearing a compression garment for 2-4 weeks, just like after liposuction. Swelling and bruising may occur in the first few days and you may feel like your muscles are sore. You should take it easy for 3-4 days. Exercise and walking are recommended, but sport and strenuous activities should be avoided for about 2 weeks. Sauna and intensive sun exposure should be avoided for 4-6 weeks. For all treatments, showering is allowed on the first day.

A BodyTite™ treatment is performed under local or general anesthesia.

After a local anesthetic with an anesthetic cream, the pain is minimal.

BodyTite™ treatment is one of the low-risk procedures, although risks can never be completely ruled out. After the treatment, you must expect redness, swelling and slight bruising, which will normally have completely subsided after two weeks at the latest. We also recommend cooling the affected treatment areas after the procedure. After just 12 hours you can put on light make-up again.

During treatment with Morpheus8™, reddening and swelling, small hematomas, small inflammations and rarely pigment disorders can occur. Here, too, light make-up can be worn after just 12 hours.

This risk warning does not apply to combination surgeries.

With BodyTite™ you can tighten those areas of skin that have lost elasticity but are still eligible for surgical skin tightening.

Since this is a minimally invasive method, downtime is kept to a minimum. Redness and swelling under the skin are usually visible for a week or two. If the treatment is combined with liposuction, the aftercare and downtime of the Liposuction.

The downtime corresponds to that of microneedling and depends on the region being treated. You don't have to put up with any downtime for all non-visible regions of the body. When treating your face, you have to wait a few days until your skin has calmed down again.

A first smoothing and tightening effect is visible immediately after the treatment, but this initially recedes slightly after a few days. Within the next three to four weeks, collagen regeneration begins, resulting in a new tightening. A final result is visible after 6 months at the earliest.

The final result usually lasts up to five years and can be repeated at any time without damaging the skin. To maintain skin rejuvenation using Morpheus8 radio frequency needling, I recommend a refresher treatment once a year.

With Morpheus8™ radio frequency needling, slight redness and swelling may occasionally occur for 2-3 days, but there is no real downtime. Sun exposure should be avoided in the treated area for 4-6 weeks or a sun protection factor of 50 should be used. Sport is allowed after 3-4 days, sauna only after 2 weeks.
