Liposuction: The Brazilian Butt Lift procedure begins with liposuction, which removes excess fat from areas of the body where it is not desired. Preparation of the fat: The removed fat is then prepared for injection. Because only this specially and carefully prepared fat is suitable for injection.

Incision closure: After the fat injection is complete, the surgeon closes the small incisions made during liposuction and fat removal with fine sutures.

Compression garment: You will need a compression garment post-operatively. This bodice helps reduce swelling and supports the newly enlarged buttocks.

Healing Period: Recovery from a Brazilian Butt Lift can vary from person to person, but typically requires you to avoid sitting or lying directly on your buttocks for a period of time to allow the fat grafts to heal. Patients are recommended to sleep on their stomach or side and to use special pillows when sitting.

Healing of the fat – it may be that not all of the transferred fat heals and some of it is reabsorbed by the body. Therefore, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result.

Post-operative – recovery can be uncomfortable and patients should not sit or lie on their back for a period of time after surgery to allow the fat grafts to take effect.

The Brazilian Butt Lift with Variofill®

Variofill® is a 100% pure hyaluronic acid product made in Germany, which due to its nature represents a safe procedure for buttock enlargement. The long-lasting effect is achieved through the strong networking that the hyaluronic acid in the butt filler has. Its molecular strands are interconnected and linked in such a way that it can withstand the many stresses of sitting, exercising and lying down and does not shift.

Variofill® injection: While standing, Dr. Bodo indicates the regions to be treated. Then Variofill® is injected in the prone position after sterile preparation under local anesthesia.

Compression girdle: You will also need a compression girdle for approx. 14 days after the Variofill® treatment.

Healing phase: You should avoid sport and heat (sauna, sun). You can shower the next day. You should avoid the bathtub and swimming pool for around 14 days.
