Chin correction: improvement of the contour
Chin correction: Your way to a harmonious profile
Ideally, viewed from the side, the forehead and chin should be aligned. In reality, however, the gap between desire and reality is often wide. With a so-called "receding chin," the front edge of the lower jaw is significantly receded. This often leads to an unbalanced profile. A tendency toward a double chin also impairs the overall aesthetic appearance of the lower half of the face. Many people desire a prominent, clearly defined chin area—a desire that can now be easily fulfilled medically.
What to do if you have a receding chin or double chin?
Both a receding chin and a double chin can be effectively treated with modern, often minimally invasive procedures. Complex surgical interventions on the jaw are not necessary in most cases.
- Injection lipolysis (fat removal injection): Ideal for reducing a slight double chin – low risk and without surgery.
- Liposuction: If there is more pronounced fatty tissue in the chin area, surgical liposuction may be advisable.
- Chin augmentation with fillers: The chin-jaw line (“jawline”) can be modeled specifically and gently with hyaluronic acid.
- Chin implant: If necessary, a silicone implant can be inserted through a small incision in the oral cavity – without visible scarring. This leads to a significant improvement in chin projection and shape.

You will be provided with your surgeon's cell phone number so you can contact her directly at any time if you have any questions or complications.
Important information for the time after the operation:

- Check-up date: Two days after surgery in our practice
- Sport & physical exertion: Avoid for four weeks to keep blood pressure low and avoid complications
