Morpheus 8®

Why do we sometimes look older than we feel? Because collagen production slows down with age. Some are genetically gifted and the reduction in collagen production sets in late, but others have to deal with the loss of skin elasticity early on - the eyebrows droop, wrinkles form on the face and décolleté.

Morpheus 8 procedures

Morpheus 8® is a treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency to stimulate collagen formation in the deeper layers of the skin. In the procedure known as deep needling, special needles that emit a radio-frequency heat impulse are inserted deep into the skin. This intensive but gentle treatment allows collagen fibers to contract more effectively, which means that slack skin and small wrinkles can be successfully reduced. It features tiny needles that penetrate the skin and deliver RF energy deep into the underlying tissue. This combination stimulates collagen and elastin production, promoting skin tightening and rejuvenation.

treatment areas

Morpheus 8® can be used on various areas of the face and body including the face, neck, cheeks, abdomen, arms, thighs and knees. It is commonly used to treat problems such as wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, uneven skin texture and sagging skin.

Treatment with offers multiple benefits including skin tightening, improved skin texture, reduction of wrinkles and fine lines, reduction of acne scars, and overall skin rejuvenation. It can also be customized to address specific concerns and tailored to individual needs.

recovery and downtime

After a Morpheus 8® treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling and spot bleeding at the treatment site, similar to other microneedling procedures. These effects usually wear off within a few days. Downtime is usually minimal and most people are able to resume normal activities shortly after treatment.

The full results of Morpheus 8® treatments develop gradually as the body's natural collagen remodeling process takes place. Many patients notice an improvement in the texture and appearance of their skin within a few weeks of treatment. Optimal results are usually achieved after a series of treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart.

Morpheus 8® treatments are generally considered safe and have a low risk of complications when performed by qualified personnel. However, as with any cosmetic procedure, there are potential risks and side effects that you should be aware of.

After the treatment, there may be temporary redness and swelling at the treated area. This is a normal reaction and usually goes away within a few days.

Pinpoint bleeding and bruising: The microneedles used in Morpheus 8® treatments create tiny punctures in the skin that can result in minimal pinpoint bleeding or bruising. These effects are usually mild and wear off quickly.

Discomfort or pain: Discomfort or slight pain may occur during treatment. However, a topical anesthetic is usually applied to the skin before the procedure to minimize any possible discomfort.

Infection: Although rare, there is a small risk of infection after treatment. It's important to follow your doctor's follow-up care instructions to reduce the risk of infection.
