Buccal-Mouth Massage
Buccal-mouth massage, or cheek-mouth massage, is a therapeutic and cosmetic massage technique that focuses on the muscles in and around the mouth, including the muscles in the cheeks, jaw, and sometimes the lips. It is performed both inside and outside the mouth. The technique has gained popularity because it can relieve tension, improve facial structure, and promote a youthful appearance.
How it's done
External Massage: Our therapist, Sina, begins by massaging the outer part of the face—including the jawline, cheeks, and temples—to warm up the facial muscles.
Internal Massage: The therapist puts on gloves and uses her fingers to gently manipulate the muscles inside the mouth:
- Inner Cheeks
- Jaw muscles
- Area around the lips: The goal is to relieve tension, improve blood circulation, and tone the muscles
The massage focuses specifically on the following areas:
- Buccinator muscle: This muscle is often tense, especially in people who are under a lot of stress or who grind their teeth.
- Jaw muscles (masseter): A targeted massage can relieve jaw tension, such as that caused by teeth grinding (bruxism). Corners of the mouth and lip area: Can improve blood circulation and firm the skin.
Advantages

- Improves blood circulation: Stimulates blood flow to the face and improves the health and radiance of the skin.
Facial Contouring:

- It can accentuate natural contours such as the cheekbones and jawline.
Stress Relief:
- It relaxes the muscles and can have a deeply calming effect.
- Improves lymphatic drainage:
