Microneedling in Berlin – Naturally Firmer Skin Through Targeted Biostimulation

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for natural skin rejuvenation and texture improvement. At our clinic in Berlin, we use this method specifically to treat wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scars, and dull skin—gently, effectively, and without surgery.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is based on the principle of Biostimulation of Skin Cells. Through controlled micro-injuries using an electronic Dermapen the outer layer of skin (epidermis) becomes irritated. These micro-irritations activate the the body's own self-healing powers and stimulate the production of Collagen, Elastin and other structural proteins.

The result:

  • strengthened connective tissue

  • improved blood circulation in the skin

  • greater elasticity and firmness

  • refined pores and a smoother skin texture

For a few hours, the skin barrier is deliberately made more permeable. During this phase, we apply highly effective active ingredients directly into the skin – such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, enzymes, or peptides. This further enhances the regenerative effect.

  • Peptide Complex + HA: to smooth facial expression lines

  • Lightning: for hyperpigmentation

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Medical Microneedling

Microneedling uses fine needles to create microchannels in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the Regeneration that promotes collagen and elastin production, strengthen connective tissue and increase blood flow to the skin.

An anesthetic cream is applied before the treatment, so the procedure is usually well tolerated. The needles are very fine; you may feel only a slight warmth or minimal needle sensation.

Typically, 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart Recommended. Results are often visible as early as the second session. Additional treatments may be beneficial for long-term improvement in skin appearance.

Microneedling is effective against:

  • Fine Lines & Wrinkles

  • larger pores

  • Acne Scars and Surgical Scars

  • mild pigmentation abnormalities

  • Stretch marks

  • pale, sun-damaged skin

Possible, but usually mild, side effects:

  • Temporary redness or swelling
  • spotting or a feeling of dryness
  • Rare risks: infections, hyperpigmentation (if used improperly)
  • No makeup for 12–24 hours
  • Use a light moisturizer
  • UV protection (SPF 50) for at least one week
  • Avoid saunas, exercise, and heat for about 2–3 days
The first improvements in skin texture are often visible after just a few days. The full results become apparent after about 4–6 weeks, as collagen remodeling and regeneration take place.
The procedure is safe for all skin types—including darker skin. However, it is not suitable for individuals with active skin infections, eczema, open wounds, active acne, pregnancy, or a tendency to develop keloids.
3–4 PRP/microneedling treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, are recommended.

The skin requires special moisturizing care. The skin should not come into contact with water for 48 hours after the treatment. A day cream with a high SPF (sun protection factor) is strongly recommended for at least 6 weeks after the treatment.

Avoid exercise and contact with water for the first 48 hours. You should definitely avoid sunbathing for the first 5 days.
