Education and Career

I studied medicine at the University of Cologne and earned my doctorate there in the field of ophthalmology. I completed my residency training at leading hospitals—first at the Cologne-Merheim Hospital in the Department of Plastic, Hand, and Reconstructive Surgery under Prof. Spilker, where I learned microsurgery, treated burn victims, and gained extensive experience in hand surgery. I then moved to the Martin Luther Hospital in Berlin, where I trained under Prof. Dr. Dr. J. Bruck to become a specialist in breast surgery and aesthetic surgery.

In June 2004, I passed my board certification exam in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Since then, international clinical rotations in Stockholm, Washington, Frankfurt, and Berlin have continuously expanded my range of surgical expertise.

From 2005 to 2012, I headed the plastic surgery department at Polikum Berlin-Charlottenburg. In 2012, I started my own practice, Plastethics—located at Schlüterstraße 40, near Kurfürstendamm, since 2016.

I serve as a Key Opinion Leader for Nordberg Medical—a Swedish biotechnology company and manufacturer of the PLLA-based collagen biostimulator JULÄINE™—and represent the products at industry events. I also serve as a speaker for Galderma, one of the leading manufacturers in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Within the DGBT (German Society for Botulinum Toxin Therapy), I serve as a speaker and Vice President. At the Premium Medical Circle, I am a member of the board and help shape the professional focus of this network of medical experts.
