After being diagnosed with breast cancer, women have to make many decisions in a short period of time. Whether and how to undergo breast reconstruction is one of the most personal of these decisions. That is precisely why this issue is so important to me.
An interview with me was published in the Premium Medical Circle (PMC): „Breast Reconstruction After Cancer: What Women Should Know Before Making a Decision.” In it, I discuss implants and autologous tissue, the right timing, the role of radiation therapy, risks, and why no one should make this decision under pressure.
